Good Morning!

Yesterday, i got a RAISE!!!! w0000000000. 3%, which puts me at an extra 21% for this past year. FUCK YEAH! I feel bad posting this because i've read my friends entries about their jobs being shitty lately, but mine kicks ass. I wish you guys could all move to vancouver and work with me! Everyone at my work is SO friendly and nice too, and although my job is a bit frustrating at times, the good definatly outweighs the bad. You are promoted based on qualifications, and you get prizes, bonuses, and commission for doing your job well. However, bell still pays more, so it's very tempting to see if I could get a job there.

Sadly tho, a girl at my work died this weekend. :( I didn't know her, but everyone at work is so bummed. She got killed in a car crash by a drunk driver. The guy ran an intersection going 80 and killed both passengers. That's SO sad. She was only 21. I feel guilty because i know i've driven a few times a bit too fucked up, but at least when i have to, i always drive very carefully and drive the speed limit. Fucker.

For the past 2 weeks I have searched EVERYWHERE for my tweezers, to no avail. I just spent 15 minutes looking again just in case, because i didn't have time to go buy any today.

After finding not a trace of them...i come to sit at the computer. I get up to pee, and there they are, sitting right in the middle of the bathroom floor in front of the door!!! There is no way i didn't notice them there before, someone must be looking after me. Or...playing a cruel joke.

In other news, i'm really stressed right now. If anyone wants to gimme a call or go for drinks this week, feel free.

I got a mini-ipod this weekend, i'm in love!!! <3 I get to listen to what *I* want all the time, which never happens when you live with two other J.P's. And they are whole tracks, not just drum patterns!!! HOORAY!!!! I would like everyone from my friends list to send me their super favourite song right now.

AND my bird is so cute. I wish I had a digital camera so you guys could all oggle her cuteness. Today she mastered peekaboo. She hides her head under her wing, or under my arm, then runs out and looks up at you SO delighted for you to say peek-a-boo. She tries to say the word too, but she can't get it right. It comes out like an enthusiastic three-syllable mumble. Hence the name Kazoo. SOOOO cute!!!!

So...in an effort to be more healthy, i went and bought a bunch of tickets to my local gym..only to find out, they don't have fucking air conditioning? Like...seriously guys.

So...I totally didn't go golfing today (I was wayy too drunk). Instead, I had the best day ever!!!

My neighbour woke me up at 4:30 in the morning by jumping on my bed, then fed me e and tequila. It reminded me of Kristina before it was work time, it was wicked! Then we chilled out with this guy named Ash who doesn't like tacos OR hamsters, but was still somehow really cool?

It got SUPER nice out. We were chilling on my deck and we saw my other neighbors on the roof, so we snuck up there too. We brought up speakers and lawnchairs and bought a whole bunch of beer. Other neighbors came to check it out too. The view from the roof is amazing. We live in a really green neighborhood and our building is a little bit taller than all the other ones, so you are the same height as the treetops. On one side you can see the mountains, and on the other side you get a great view of downtown. I think we are gonna do this every saturday. Maybe i'll actually have a tan for once.

I'm applying again for a new position! Training support consultant. So basically, I walk around and tell people what to do. Omnipetince here I come! Haha. Just kidding, I wish. When new people are starting I coach them and help them with things they don't understand. It's alot of work and it doesn't pay any more, but it's the next step to become a manager, which pays a whole bunch more, so here I come!

I was supposed to do my resume this weekend, but as I completed DREAD!!! them, I didn't do it. It's okay tho, I have until wednesday to hand it in. Ugh....i hate them soooooo much. I need to completely map out answers for all the situations I can come up with prior to the interview as well. The interview will be REALLY hard. It is with the directors and it is one hour or more long, based on behavioural and situational questions. There is gonna be alot of tough competition as well. Oh well, I always like a challenge ;)

Does anyone have any tips on what makes a good trainer? Please, help me out!

Finally! My resume is finished! God I hate doing them, but now it is a pretty .pdf attachment. Ahhh.. *marvels at her good work* I'm applying for the next position up from my current one, which also means a 10% raise! I had better get it, i got the 9th best review of everyone at work on my last months performance review. Booyakasha mother-suckers.

Also, i've been running every morning, and eating kinda mostly healthy. 10 days in a row today! Yay me! Gotta burn off all this stupid "desk job fat".

I went to the Lynn Valley Suspension bridge today, and fuck does it ever rock out. If any of you are ever in vancouver i definately suggest checking it out. The bridge isn't really the coolest part, all the hiking and climbing you can do in a rainforest atmosphere is just awesome. Finding little lagoons and rock crevases. It was t-shirt weather and we took of our shoes and jumped across rocks near the edge of the rapids and basked in the sun. Then we found some crazy little trail on the very side of a cliff inside this huge rock crevase with a water fall at the end. This is the shit I love about BC.
